about

Fracture spans a 5-year period from 2003 - 2008. All tracks were prominent in all Skelp gigs during this period.

The tracks themselves touch on such topics as growing up in Glasgow, living in London, moving to the U.S and a lot more. McEwan and Watts different influences and experiences made for the prefect punk-pop fusion that became Skelp.

This is the 5th full album from Skelp with many tracks sitting untouched for over a decade, it’s now time for them to see the light of day. Fracture will be closely followed by the next release from Skelp’s very beginnings (think raw and noisy!).

All tracks recorded in Dave McEwan's basement studio around the mid-2000's.

Ben Azzara who played in numerous Washington D.C Dischord bands joined in Jan 2011 on drums. ... more
